Team welcomes ivie as new partner

ivie, the consumer brand of leading smart energy company Chameleon Technology partners with Lifeplus-Wahoo, Britain’s most successful ever women’s cycling team.

The partnership is born from a joint commitment to the importance of continual small gains on a long road to success. Whether that is analysing cycling performances or noting areas in the home where energy usage can be reduced, both share an appreciation for utilising data and implementing small changes that produce big results.

This sponsorship marks the beginning of a mutually beneficial collaboration that combines data-driven insights, a dedication to excellence, and a shared commitment to community engagement – including providing opportunities for women in traditionally male-dominated industries.

In addition, both parties are committed to sharing stories of energy saving techniques, in relation to both energy outputs on the bike, and to help homeowners with their cost savings exercises year round. Their shared activities will use the hashtag #KnowYourData, highlighting the importance of knowing, and understanding, your everyday energy data to help implement both cost and energy-saving changes.

“Through our partnership with Lifeplus-Wahoo we are delighted to be able to amplify ivie’s mission to improve energy efficiency and optimisation through data analysis and measurement of incremental gains,” adds Mike Woodhall, Co-Founder and CEO of Chameleon Technology. “Besides the obvious synergies around the application of data science to inform performance improvements, we share a commitment towards the promotion of greater diversity and inclusivity – especially within our respective fields of sport and engineering."

The Lifeplus-Wahoo Cycling Team, known for its prowess on the cycling circuit and dedication to fostering talent, welcomes ivie as a key sponsor. The team's riders and staff will proudly showcase the ivie logo on their official jerseys, symbolising the synergy between the two entities.

“We are excited to welcome ivie as a sponsor of the team," said Team Manager, Tom Varney. “This partnership reflects our shared values of excellence, teamwork, and the importance of data. We look forward to achieving great things on and off the bike with ivie, and of course showcasing the ivie brand on the global stage of professional cycling."
