Drops-Le Col supported by Tempur is excited to announce a new partnership with legendary French brand Mavic.

The multi-year partnership will include the provision of mechanical support in the form of race, training and time trial wheels, footwear and additional equipment for each of the teams’ fourteen riders. The famous neutral service car will support the team at selected races and team camps throughout the season. The team is looking forward to a training camp at Mavic’s picturesque HQ in Annecy later this year and will also have access to a French-based Service Course facility.

Team Director, Tom Varney commented "Mavic is a company deeply embedded in the history of cycling. They have a knowledge of racing at the highest level that few brands can match. We are proud to be associated with such a brand and to guide them into the world of women's cycling for the first time."

This partnership welcomes Mavic into the women's peloton for the first time in their iconic 132 year history, a strategic decision made under its new owners, the Bourrelier Group.

Guillaume Martin, Sports Marketing Manager of Mavic enthused “We are happy for our new partnership with Drops-Le Col Cycling Team. We believe that we can achieve great sporting objectives together and actively participate in the growth of women's cycling. The team will ride the brand new Cosmic SLR 45 Disc featuring our latest technologies but also the Ksyrium Pro Carbon SL UST Disc, Comete SL Pro Carbon UST Disc and some Comete prototypes for TT too. We wish the whole team a great 2021 season out on the road.”

Riders will get their hands on their new equipment during the first training camp of the season, which takes place in Tarragona this February, where Mavic will present their groundbreaking product range to the team.
