Richardson takes Gold!

Kate Richardson takes home the Gold medal in the Individual Pursuit at the U23 European Track Championships!

The 20 year-old Glaswegian, who rides for Lifeplus-Wahoo in road races, forms part of the Great Britain team that headed to Anadia, Portugal this past week to take part in the U23 European Track Championships.

Richardson, qualified for the Gold medal playoff, with the fastest time of all 20 riders in the competition.

In the final, Kate went even quicker, recording a time of 3:30.806 to win the gold medal.

Later on in the week, Kate will join Maddie Leech and two other riders in the Team Pursuit competition.
