Leech makes it four gold medals in Portugal

Maddie Leech and her Madison partner Sophie Lewis take home the Gold medal in the Madison event at the U23 European Track Championships! The third Gold from team riders at the championships this week.

The Yorkshire lass, who rides for Lifeplus-Wahoo in road races, forms part of the Great Britain team that headed to Anadia, Portugal this past week to take part in the U23 European Track Championships.

Leech and Lewis took a convincing win in the race, winning 8 of the 10 available sprints, which meant that the British pair would finish over 25 points ahead of the next best placed team.

Over the Championships, Kate and Maddie would take home Three Gold Medals, winning every race they were present in.
